EcoFlow DELTA 1000 – My Real-World Test: How Long Will It Actually Run My Pellet Stove?

EcoFlow DELTA 1000 – My Real-World Test: How Long Will It Actually Run My Pellet Stove?

Just Starting it!

I’ve been meaning to test this for months, so today I finally did it.

I flipped the main breaker off, plugged our Harman pellet stove into the EcoFlow DELTA 1000, and let it run on medium. Here’s exactly what happened — no exaggeration, no sponsored fluff.

I walked down to the basement, turned the breaker to the pellet stove off, plugged the pellet stove directly into the EcoFlow DELTA 1000 using its standard 15-amp AC outlet, set the stove to medium heat — the exact setting we use when it’s really cold — and let it run.

Here’s what actually happened (100 % real numbers):

  • 0 minutes → 100 % battery
  • 60 minutes → 68 % remaining
  • 2 hours 8 minutes → 31 % remaining (that’s when I stopped the test)

That’s over two hours of real heat from a single charge with no grid power, no generator noise, and no fumes in the house.

For reference, the EcoFlow DELTA 1000 has a rated capacity of 1,008 Wh (about 900–920 Wh usable). That lines up almost perfectly with what I measured.

I originally bought this unit for job-site work and filming when I have to kill the breaker for electrical projects (you’ll see it a lot in the upcoming bathroom reno series), but this quick test proved it’s also an absolute lifesaver for winter power outages in Connecticut.

If you heat with a pellet stove and lose power in the winter like we do, this is the single best purchase I’ve ever made for the house.
